Privacy Policy

CoachMi (“we”, “the app”) is an AI training coach. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. Questions: pavelmazuelas@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account — when you sign in with Apple we receive your name and (optionally relayed) email to create your account.
- Health & fitness data (with your permission) — via Apple HealthKit we read your workouts, heart rate, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep, and cardio fitness. We use this only to tailor and adapt your training plan and the coach's feedback. Your GPS routes never leave your device.
- Training plan & chat — the plans the coach builds and your messages with the coach.
- Device token — an Expo push token, so we can send you coach notifications (only if you allow notifications).
- App state — your chosen coach, language, time zone, and trial/subscription status.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your health data for advertising.
How it's used and shared
- Storage: your data is stored in our backend (Supabase, EU region) under access controls scoped to your account.
- AI processing: to generate the coach's messages and plans, relevant training context (e.g. recent sessions, targets, summarized health signals) is sent to our model provider (OpenAI) via secure API. It is processed to produce your response and is not used to train their models.
- Notifications: push messages are delivered via Expo's push service.
- We share data only with these processors, as needed to run the service, and as required by law.
Apple Health
Health data accessed via HealthKit is used solely to provide the coaching features described above. It is never used for advertising or marketing and is never sold. You can revoke access any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → CoachMi.
Your rights & choices
- Delete your account and data — in the app, go to Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data (plans, chat, synced health rows). This cannot be undone.
- Revoke Health access — see the Apple Health section above.
- Turn off notifications — iOS Settings → Notifications → CoachMi.
- Access / export — contact us at the email above.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, the associated data is deleted. Backups are purged on our provider's standard cycle.
Children
CoachMi is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
